Third Person RPG (Unity)

Overview

I LOVE classic World of Warcraft. I love that every thing you get in the game is earned. That every characters journey feels unique. That you can customize and make your character your own, and you don't feel incredibly punished for doing so. My goal with this project is to create a single player version of that feeling. With everything you'd expect from a challenging RPG including stats, skills, equipment, and abilities.

Current Status

Current the players stats and secondary attributes are implemented, as is the leveling. So the player can defeat enemies, level up, put points into their stats which then augment their combat abilities. Baseline "auto attack" is implemented too, taking attack and defense values into consideration and visually showcasing damage done in the form of floating damage numbers.

Future Goals

The next major step is going to be the introduction of an inventory and equipment to further boost stats. After that it'll likely be adding some basic state control AI to the enemies so that they can fight back and be a bit more interactive.
